根据 Bloomberg 消息，Ebay 将在 2024 年 8 月开始，停止 AMEX 的支付。主要原因还是觉得 AMEX 的手续费太高了。这个无法支付应该是指 AMEX 卡直接在 ebay 上付款，如果通过 paypal 连的 amex 卡，估计还是可以正常在 ebay 上支付的。
EBay on Wednesday notified customers about the change, which is set to take effect Aug. 17.
“After careful consideration, eBay has decided to no longer accept American Express globally effective August 17 due to the unacceptably high fees American Express charges for processing credit card transactions,” the company said in a statement.
